Assessor – Job Description
Job Title: Assessor
Reports To: Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) / Program Manager
Role Purpose:
The Assessor is responsible for conducting fair, valid, reliable, and impartial assessments of learners’ knowledge, skills, and competence in accordance with approved assessment plans, qualification requirements, and ATTICS International policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments in line with approved assessment plans and criteria
Verify learner identity and eligibility prior to assessment
Apply assessment standards consistently and objectively
Collect valid, authentic, sufficient, and current evidence
Record assessment decisions accurately and completely
Provide clear and constructive feedback to learners
Implement approved learner adjustments and special consideration
Maintain confidentiality of learner information and assessment records
Declare and manage conflicts of interest
Comply with ATTICS International policies and procedures
Participate in standardization and professional development activities
Authority:
Recommend assessment outcomes based on evidence
Request additional evidence where required
Refer issues to IQA or management when necessary
Competence & Qualification Requirements:
Relevant technical or professional qualification
Assessor qualification (where applicable)
Demonstrated occupational competence
Knowledge of assessment principles and practices
Understanding of impartiality and confidentiality requirements
The IQA is responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, validity, and integrity of assessment and certification processes across all programs delivered by ATTICS International.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement internal quality assurance strategies
Monitor assessor performance through sampling and observation
Verify assessment decisions for consistency and compliance
Ensure assessment tools and materials meet required standards
Support assessor development and standardization
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17024, and ISO 21001 requirements
Monitor implementation of learner adjustments and special consideration
Identify nonconformities and implement corrective actions
Maintain IQA records and reports
Support audits, accreditation visits, and management reviews
Authority:
Approve or reject assessment decisions where required
Require corrective actions from assessors
Recommend suspension of assessment activities if quality risks are identified
Competence & Qualification Requirements:
Relevant technical or professional qualification

The Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality, learner-focused training aligned with approved curricula, learning outcomes, and ATTICS International learning delivery standards.

Deliver training in accordance with approved learning plans
Prepare and maintain training materials
