  • No candidate is permitted to sit an examination without verified identification

Biometric Verification Options

Where permitted by local regulations and practical for implementation, biometric verification methods including facial recognition or fingerprint scanning may supplement document-based identification for high-stakes examinations, with appropriate data protection safeguards and candidate consent obtained.

Online and Remote Verification

For online learning and examinations:

  • Digital ID upload and verification required
  • Webcam identity confirmation or live proctoring used where applicable
  • Secure login credentials assigned to individual learners only

Multi-Factor Remote Identity Verification

Remote identity verification employs at least two-factor authentication combining document verification, live facial matching against the submitted ID, and knowledge-based authentication questions, with verification sessions recorded and retained for audit purposes in compliance with data protection requirements.

Handling Identification Discrepancies

If identity cannot be confirmed:

  • Learner may be refused entry to examination
  • Case reported under Malpractice Procedure
  • Investigation conducted before further participation is allowed

Discrepancy Resolution Protocol

Identification discrepancies trigger a standardized investigation protocol including document authenticity checks, registration record review, and where necessary, verification with issuing authorities, with temporary suspension of assessment participation until resolution and formal notification to the learner of investigation outcomes.
