ATTICS International Qualification Withdrawal Policy

These policies are developed exclusively for ATTICS International. Any copying, sharing, or reuse without written consent is not permitted.

Purpose

ATTICS International is committed to maintaining the integrity, credibility, and international recognition of all qualifications and certifications issued under its authority.

The purpose of this policy is to define the circumstances, process, and responsibilities for withdrawal of qualifications or certifications, ensuring fair treatment, due process, and protection of stakeholder trust.

Scope

This policy applies to:

  • Learners and candidates
  • Certified persons
  • Approved training and examination centres
  • Corporate clients and partners
  • Any individual or organization holding an ATTICS International qualification or certification

Policy Statement

ATTICS International shall:

  • Withdraw qualifications only where justified by evidence
  • Apply fair and transparent procedures
  • Protect certification credibility and public trust
  • Provide affected parties the right to respond and appeal
  • Maintain records of withdrawal decisions

Grounds for Qualification Withdrawal

Qualifications or certifications may be withdrawn if:

  • Certification was obtained through fraud, cheating, or misrepresentation
  • Examination or assessment malpractice is confirmed
  • False or misleading information was provided
  • Conditions of certification are breached
  • Continued competence requirements are not met (where applicable)
  • Approved centre misconduct compromises validity
  • Legal or regulatory requirements demand withdrawal

Withdrawal Procedure

Step 1: Identification of Issue

Concerns may arise through:

  • Internal audits or IQA
  • Complaints or whistleblowing
  • External audit or accreditation findings
  • Legal or regulatory notification

Step 2: Investigation

  • Evidence collected and reviewed
  • Affected individual or centre notified
  • Opportunity provided to respond

Step 3: Decision

  • Certification / Qualification Committee reviews findings
  • Decision made on withdrawal, suspension, or other action

Step 4: Communication

  • Formal written notification issued
  • Reasons and effective date provided
  • Information on right to appeal included

Step 5: Implementation

  • Qualification or certification status revoked
  • Certificates or digital badges invalidated
  • Registers updated
  • Stakeholders informed where necessary

Right to Appeal

Any party affected by withdrawal may appeal through the Complaints & Appeals Policy within 14 days of notification.

Consequences of Withdrawal

  • Loss of right to claim ATTICS qualification
  • Removal from certified persons register
  • Return or invalidation of certificates
  • Notification to relevant stakeholders where required

Records and Confidentiality

All withdrawal records are:

  • Stored securely
  • Retained under Document Retention Policy
  • Treated confidentially
