Policy Statement

ATTICS International is committed to ensuring fair, inclusive, and equal access to all Auditing, Training, Testing, Inspection, Calibration, and Certification-related services.

As an ISO 9001:2015, ISO/IEC 17024:2012, and ISO 21001:2025 Certified and Compliant Organization, and an Organizational Member of ASTM International (Membership No. 2515539), ATTICS International ensures that no individual is disadvantaged due to disability, medical condition, language barriers, or unforeseen personal circumstances.

We provide reasonable adjustments and special consideration where appropriate, while maintaining the integrity, validity, and impartiality of our assessment, inspection, and certification processes.

Purpose

This policy establishes a structured framework to:

  • Provide equal opportunity to all candidates, trainees, clients, and stakeholders
  • Ensure fair access to assessments, training, examinations, inspections, and evaluations
  • Define processes for requesting and implementing reasonable adjustments
  • Define procedures for granting special consideration in exceptional circumstances
  • Maintain compliance with international conformity assessment and educational management requirements

Scope

This policy applies to:

  • Training and certification candidates
  • Examination and assessment participants
  • Clients receiving inspection, testing, or audit services
  • ATTICS International personnel involved in service delivery

It covers all service areas including training, certification, audits, inspections, testing, and calibration activities.

Definitions

Reasonable Adjustment:

A modification or adaptation to standard procedures to remove barriers for individuals with disabilities or specific needs, without compromising assessment or service integrity.

Special Consideration:

A temporary allowance granted to individuals affected by unforeseen circumstances beyond their control that may impact performance or participation.

Special Consideration Policy

Special consideration may be granted when individuals are affected by:

  • Accidents or injury
  • Bereavement or serious family circumstances
  • Unforeseen disruptive events

Application Process

  • Requests must be submitted as soon as possible after the event
